Meerie’s Sign

with 3 comments

Before make a sign, This project was really difficult for me because it was hard to decide a sign from some ideas. My group members helped to choose a sign, the sign called  [춥다]–korean–which means [I am cold] in English. They told me it is fresh and if I wrote in korean, then somebody will ask you what this means. I agreed with them so I wrote korean first then wrote [ask me what this means] underneath.

After record a video,

When I prepared, I didn’t know how to express or performed with my sign, however the weather was freezing, I didn’t bring mittens and wore shorts with a stockings, so I thought it is perfect time to performing to me. I performed on the corner of Yonge & Dundas. When I just started performing, only few people reacted to the sign and they laughed. I hoped that people ask me the meaning of [춥다], however, while I performed, only few people asked the meaning.

When I’ve got an information of this project, I thought it is the most weird project ever. However, this project gives lots of reactions from audiences, thus it will help to other projects!

  2. love this idea!

I felt so bad for you cause you were just soooo cold, therefore it is funny that was your sign.

“ask me what it means” could have been bigger.. but if I remember correctly it was a last minute thing!

  3. Go Meerie! I thought you were definitely really friendly and outgoing, and I am surprised that a lot of people didn’t approach you.
